Slowlight — Support
Slowlight is a long-exposure camera for iPhone. If something is not working, this page is the whole support channel: there is no account system and no ticketing, because there is no server.
Getting in touch
Email gapfound.apps@gmail.com. Please say which iPhone and which version of iOS, and what you expected to happen.
If a capture went wrong, open Settings › Camera and saving in the app and include those lines. They are produced on your device, the app does not send them anywhere, and they say more than a description can.
Common questions
Why does my exposure stop after thirty seconds? That is the free limit. Unlocking removes it. Every mode, every manual control and every resolution is free.
Where do my photographs go? To your iOS photo library, when you tap Save. Slowlight keeps its own copy as well so the Captures list can show it. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Why is it not sharper than the built-in camera? Slowlight fuses many frames from the video stream rather than taking one full sensor read, so for an ordinary snapshot the built-in camera will usually win. Slowlight is for the pictures a single frame cannot take: light trails, silky water, light painting and star trails.
Do I need a tripod? For anything beyond a second or two, yes, or something to brace the phone against. The stack does not correct for camera movement, so a handheld exposure smears the whole scene rather than only the parts that moved.
I paid on another device. Settings › Restore purchase. It uses the Apple ID signed in on the phone.
Which iPhones does it run on? iPhone 8 and newer, on iOS 16.4 or later. Higher resolutions need a newer phone, and Settings says what each one costs in memory.
