What Wavepress does
You import an audio file or record something in the app — vows, a heartbeat on a scan, a voicemail, a song. Wavepress draws that recording as a waveform, sets it as a poster, and gives you a file to print.
The output is what matters. Every poster exports as a true vector PDF: the waveform stays as line work and the type stays as embedded text, so it is sharp at A3 or at A0 rather than turning into a blurry photograph of a poster. It carries 3 mm bleed and crop marks, and the page measures exactly what it claims to, so you can hand it to any print shop as it is. There is also a 300-DPI PNG at trim size for home printers and upload forms.
Three waveform styles — linear, radial and spiral — with six colour treatments and four typographic systems, on A3, A2, 12 × 16 in and 18 × 24 in.
What it is not
Wavepress is not a printing service. It does not sell posters, take orders, or post anything to you. It makes the file; you decide where to print it. There is no subscription — a single purchase unlocks unlimited exports permanently.
Which audio files work
Whatever your phone can already play: m4a, mp3, wav, aac, caf and flac. The decoding is done by your device's own audio system, so if the Files app or Music can play it, Wavepress can draw it.
Keep imports under about 60 MB. A poster only needs the part you actually want to see, and a trimmed clip usually makes a better-looking waveform than an hour-long file squeezed onto one page.
Printing it well

Common questions
Why is there a watermark on my export?
Designing and previewing is free, and exports carry a watermark until the one-time unlock is purchased. That way you can check the actual file — size, sharpness, how the type sits — before paying for anything.
I paid before, on another phone.
Tap Restore purchase, on the unlock screen or in Settings. Your purchase belongs to your Apple ID or Google account, so signing into that account on the new device and restoring is all that is needed. If nothing is found, check you are signed in with the same account you bought it with.
Is it a subscription?
No. One payment, once, and unlimited exports forever. There are no ads, no credits and no second tier.
Where are my posters kept?
On your phone, encrypted, and nowhere else. There is no account and no cloud copy. See the privacy policy.
What happens if I lose my phone?
The posters are gone — we cannot restore them, because we never had them. Export the ones that matter; the PDF and PNG are ordinary files you can keep in iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or anywhere else you like.
Why does the app want the microphone?
Only so you can record something to draw. It is used while a recording is running and at no other time. If you only import files, you can decline it.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Erase all posters, or remove the app. Both delete everything on the device permanently. There is nothing on our side to delete. See Deleting your data.
